All players MUST be at least 21 years of age.
Open Division:
The Open Division is considered the most competitive division of the Paul Bunyan Pond Hockey Championships.This division is for men and women age 21 and older. Some open division teams carry professional players. Teams hold up to 6 players with 4 players on the ice at a time. Each team is guaranteed three games Saturday, January 29th, 2012. The winners will advance into the Championships on Sunday, January 30th, 2012 - playing up to an additional 2 games.
Masters Division:
The 40+ Open Division is for men and women age 40 and older. These teams are guaranteed three games on Saturday, January 29th, 2012. Teams hold up to 6 players with 4 players on the ice at a time. The winners will advance into the Championships on Sunday, January 30th, 2012 - playing up to an additional 2 games. Important notification: This division must have at least 4 teams register to play. If 4 teams do not register this division will be merged with the Open Division. Total registered to date: 0 (As of October 20th, 2010)
Women's Division
The Women's Division is for women 21 and older who want to show what women's hockey is all about. These teams are guaranteed three games on Saturday, January 29th, 2012. Teams hold up to 6 players with 4 players on the ice at a time. The winners will advance into the Championships on Sunday, January 30th, 2012 -playing up to an additional 2 games. Important notification: This division must have at least 4 teams register to play. If 4 teams do not register this division will be merged with the Open Division.
