When can I register my team for the 2012 Paul Bunyan Pond Hockey Tournament? Registration for the third-annual Paul Bunyan Pond Hockey Tournament (PBPondhockey) is open: www.pbpondhockey.com.
When will the 2012 Paul Bunyan Pond Hockey Tournament Championships take place? The 2012 Paul Bunyan Pond Hockey Tournament Championships will take place February 11, 2012 with a rain/snow date of February 12, 2012.
When do players check-in? Player check-in will be Saturday, February 11, 2012 starting at 7am (EST).
Is there a raindate for this event? Yes. There will be notice on this website and via email. If the weather does not permit play on the scheduled date the makeup date (rain, shine or snow) will be February 12th and 13th. Same times apply for registration.
How many games does my team get to play? All Open, Masters and Women's teams are guaranteed three games with the possibility of more if they make it to Championship rounds.
How many players can each team have? Teams in the Open, Masters and Women's divisions can carry a minimum of four to six players.
What is the format of this year's tournament? All PBPondhockey games will be played in a four-on-four, no goalie, round-robin format. Games will be two 20-minute halves with a 10-minute intermission.

What are the dimensions of the goals at the 2012 PBPondhockey? The Goal dimensions are 6' wide by 2' deep by 6" tall. Specifically, they are wooden boards forming a rectangle with two 1' openings on either end of the front of the goal. It stands as four walls with no top, or cover, and two openings on the ends of one board (front) where the puck will enter to score a goal.

If one of my teammates gets injured, can I sub in a new player? No substitutions are allowed. We recommend filling your team out with at least 6 players to account for player injury.

Can spectators come out to watch the pond hockey games? Absolutely! The Paul Bunyan Pond Hockey Tournament is free and open to the public. In addition to amazing hockey action on 8-10 rinks, the Roosevelt Camp Lodge is set up where people can buy pond hockey merchandise, feast on food and have a cold beverages, beer or wine. Please join in the fun!
