UPDATE
Last week a monsoon ruined all the hard work that was placed into creating the rinks at Bass Park. With a week to go and no solid ice in view - the Tournament was forced to move. The decision was made to take the event to Phillips Lake. With this news a handful of teams were lost but there are still up to 25 teams to play on Saturday.
The Paul Bunyan Pond Hockey Tournament has been rescheduled to: February 6th - 8am until about 4pm. The new location is: Phillips Lake at Camp CaPella. The Tournament will be on Saturday only beginning at 8 am. Plenty of parking is located in front of the Lucerne Banquet Center. The Paul Bunyan Pond Hockey Tournament will have 2 Shuttles vans (15 passenger each) that will be running all day. Just call 207-745-4924 for transporation to and from the event. This will be available for all people attending. There will be a hot tub on site, heated lodge & a full kitchen. The kitchen will be selling goodies such as soups, sandwiches & muchies. Tournament sweatshirts will be for sale.
Since the reschedule there will be no alcohol sold BUT please BYOB to partake in an adult beverages if you would like.
We appreciate everyone's hard work and dedication to this project. We thank our sponsors for sticking in there even when Mother Nature dealt us a hard blow. We are back on track and ready to hit the ice running!
